Product Information

Lewis F. Day (18451910) is best known for his ceramics and wallpapers, and for his writings on the philosophy of the Arts and Crafts Movement. His interest in design is said to have stemmed from his frequent visits to the South Kensington Museum (now the Victoria and Albert Museum).
The V&A holds many examples of his work including the inspiration for Dianthus, a meandering and swirling printed cotton from 1888. The collections wonderful mix of natural forms is enhanced by an elegant blue colour palette.
Fully reversible, the collection includes four sizes of duvet cover sets, housewife pillowcase and one size of curtains; a scallop edged quilted throw over adds a relaxed layer and a navy canvas cushion with decorated with embroidered birds and oak leaves completes the collection
Bedding: 100% Cotton. Curtains: 100% Cotton sateen. Cushion: 100% Cotton Canvas
