In the early 19th century, luxurious shawls from Kashmir became indispensable accessories and were soon imitated throughout Europe, notably in the town of Paisley in Renfrewshire, Scotland. One such lavish shawl in the V&A collection, a finely woven imitation of the highly desirable cloth, created in Paisley, has inspired this elegant bedding design. The intricate paisley pattern is digitally printed across 300 thread count cotton sateen with a vivid turquoise coloured reverse. The colour is also echoed in the square Oxford pillowcase, embellished with a coral embroidered cover stitch.
Please Note: Pillowcases are not included with these duvet covers.
