Morris designed Pimpernel in 1876 and later chose it to decorate his dining room at Kelmscott House in Hammersmith, London. The design is a complex structure of tulip flowers and leaves in a swirling pattern, resting on a contrasting aubergine ground and reversing to a delicate small scale scrolling floral co-ordinate. Printed on softest 300 thread count cotton percale the range is accessorised with the cosy Jura check wool blanket with fringed edging and a linen mix cushion adorned with a beautifully embroidered artichoke.

I received my order today and I am delighted with it. The fabric is superb silky and soft the design timeless and classy giving a rich and opulent feel to my bedroom. I was unsure when ordering if it would be too powerful as I have had very neutral colours for years and this is a massive departure from my norm but I am trilled with all aspects of it. It is just beautiful. The whole process from order to delivery has been simple fast and efficient. Many thanks. I am a new customer but will be ordering more very soon.
